Well, since the Server Conduct Policy was simplified, why not do the same to the Forum Posting Guidelines?

vouch, although i see a similar outcry when we did the conduct policy i think this should happen too for the same reason we did the conduct policy so we dont deter new people from the forum.
although granted the guidelines isn't as bad as the old policy

I think the forum posting guidelines don't have the same problem that the conduct policy had with it being outdated and such I think we should just put all the blocks of text in spoilers so it would be 1. Personal attacks and flame wars. Attacking other members personally, esp. when combined with juvenile profanities will result in your post being deleted with potential sanctions. You can disagree with another member's post but keep it respectful, and debate the point being made as opposed to attacking the person making the point. Also, do not respond in kind to personal attacks - simply flag the offending post. If you respond to a personal attack with a personal attack, your post will be deleted and you will be subject to sanctions.
