So I was going to stick to going inactive, but was made aware of this thread and feel it's worth putting my 2 cent in here so people don't go to jail. It is an offense pretty much globally (Certainly is in the UK or US) to view CSCA materials and if you do see it, you should immediately be reporting it to law enforcement. That way if they are not aware of it being hosted there, they are now and can take actual action to remove the content, and try to put safeguarding in place for the victims. Seth, and everyone else certainly shouldn't be viewing content reported as CSCA by a member of the community, and it's one of the few times where I'd say 'Ban first ask questions later is appropriate'. We have an appeals process for a reason, and this for me is where it makes sense to priorities that over evidence. Please also remember it's not just 'Adult' content that comes under CSCA, but it can also be horrific abuse elsewhere, and most people that work in law enforcement to tackle it, only work with it for short stints before months of therapy to cope with it. I've not been able to find a quick online way to report it, but I know there are ways out there, in the US there is a site linked on here - fightthenewdrug.org/how-to-report-child-porn-if-you-or-someone-you-know-sees-it/ and I'd strongly encourage anyone who did see this to report it through there, at least then if you do get a knock on the door from the police you can say you stumbled across it and reported it in good faith. Also, please please please remind people that the internet has nasty shit on it, and especially the dark web, if you're fishing around on it you will stumble across all sorts of illegal stuff, and there is every chance you can get in serious trouble for accessing such content, so if you do, report it.

Yeah some smartass will probably quote me on this and say "But dark web is cool and not everything is illegal on it" But it is questionable livestreaming this. It was mentioned they intended to access the "adult section". Even if it was consenting adults, it would still be illegal due to the fact, some of the people who were watching the stream were underage. Also, if you are gonna start poking around in the dark web, reminder that the authorities often set up sting operations to track down those who "intend" to access that material.

The deep web isn't the dark web, there's alot of interesting shit you can find in the deep web that isn't "dark web" shit. Also, we weren't trying to access the adult section Darth just clicked the first thing on the site. Granted i've learned my lesson with that shit anyway

Darth wanted to browse the dark web, so I linked him to one of the most popular dark web directories there is. He live-streamed the dark web for myself and a couple others, and we went to the adult section. There was child porn there, you haven't read the post, as I explained all of it there.

I'd say it's actually somewhat of a good thing that you didn't know that there would be that sort of stuff in there.

Although I’m still disgusted by what happened, it’s not your fault and it was still a misunderstanding and so I forgive you. Just don’t do it again and we’ll be cool.
