Hey guys,
Currently I have a 2013 Macbook Pro with a 13-inch screen with retina display. It's got about 1.7 GB left worth of memory out of 251 GB, primarily due to all the stuff I need to have on it for school despite the fact that I have various reliable memory management apps installed to combat this problem which I use regularly.
My main issue is, my computer is at the end of its life and I'm in the process of looking for a replacement. I want a Windows gaming laptop that is relatively new (2018 or later), cheap (US$2500 at most) but reliable and that can work well for both school and gaming. Do you guys have any recommendations?

bruh what i have a 2014 retina mbp and it's not even close to being eol
you'd be better off getting a really nice gaming desktop and saving the rest for a laptop
$2500 is a lot so yeah. and if you're gonna buy an apple laptop i wouldn't wait tbh because ARM is gonna take a while to fully transition to and the first generation of it will likely have a ton of glitches. yes ARM will be better but Intel Macs are gonna be supported for many years still. i wouldn't really recommend windows laptops tbh. I've had nothing but issues with them. windows desktops are better imho

Check out a new amd ryzen 3rd gen laptop, there's some great ones already and more are coming out as production starts to ramp up again after covid closures are reversed

As most laptops won't have any issues with school work I would say that something like a Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 would be a valid replacement (could even be overkill).

i hear Razer has really bad quality control. I know three different people who bought the stealth and it just flat out stopped working after 3 - 9 months. Razer wouldn't do anything about it either. Never personally owned a Razer product myself

Never personally owned a Razer product myself definitely could be the case, would spend time researching that more before dropping $2000+ also gommeh, please make sure you get a warranty for whatever you do end up buying
