I am recruiting 2 more developers to help me develop the server. I am going based off skill, and will be evaluating past projects. I will be personally hand selecting developers. You do not need to be an admin to be a developer. Know that you get no special perks or rewards like the last """developer admin""" shit show last time, only the developer title on the forums, in-game, and on the discord server.
Applications will close July 19th, 2020.
What you should know: - Know how to use GitHub - Know how to code in Java - Know how to write Minecraft plugins
What I prefer you to have: - Multiple years of developing experience (preferably Java)
What you'll be doing: - Developing for TFM - Potentially modifying other plugins to hook into TFM or to block harmful things - Working as a team
1. Your in-game name
2. Your github profile link
3. Have you made code contributions to the server before?
4. Rate your level of programming skill (ex Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, or Professional (professional being you have a degree in a field like software engineering).
5. How long have you been writing code?
6. Have you ever done plugin development before?
7. Are you good with working with a team?

1. Your in-game nameTelesphoreo2. Your github profile linkgithub.com/Telesphoreo 3. Have you made code contributions to the server before?
Yes, both to TF and the SMP server.
On the TF server: - I helped update TFM to 1.13 in 2018, for the massive API changes - For 1.14, TF ran my updated TF-plugins (TF-EssentialsX, TF-WorldEdit, TF-LibsDisguises) - I was absent during 1.15 development - Even though TF never used it, I made a patched version of Paper 1.15.2 patching the RGB exploit and some packet exploits. - A list of commits here: github.com/TFPatches/TotalFreedomMod/commits?author=Telesphoreo
On the SMP server: - Rewrote the messy TF-SMP plugin to what is now SMPCore - Maintained the server itself, with tasks including building and updating Docker images, keeping server up to date, installing/optimizing the panel and the VPS.4. Rate your level of programming skill (ex Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, or Professional (professional being you have a degree in a field like software engineering).

1. Your in-game nameCoolJWB 2. Your github profile linkgithub.com/CoolJWB3. Have you made code contributions to the server before?Indeed, I currently maintain VulnerabilityPatcher and have made commits to TotalFreedomMod. 4. Rate your level of programming skill (ex Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, or Professional (professional being you have a degree in a field like software engineering).I would say at this point, an expert would be most accurate. I have experience in databases (MySQL and Redis), BungeeCord, how packets communicate between the client and server, advanced NMS, multithreaded Java applications, reflection but also all relevant APIs (Bukkit, Spigot, and Paper). I also know the basics of other languages such as C++, C#, Python, PHP, Javascript, Typescript, CSS, (HTML), and Windows scripts. 5. How long have you been writing code?I have written code for about 10+ years in a variety of different languages and environments as mentioned above. 6. Have you ever done plugin development before?Yes, I have about 3 years of plugin development and worked as a lead developer at Sweden's previously largest Minecraft server. 7. Are you good with working with a team?Yes, I can work with a team and have done it before.
