The old adminworld represents a large amount of the history for the server. I don't think it should have been removed without a discussion, and there are a lot of really nice builds that I think everyone should be able to enjoy ( see my other suggestion to allow OPs in Adminworld without permissions to edit). Obviously if approved a grace period for people to save builds from the new map should happen. |

i mean i wonder if theres a way to merge both worlds with like mcedit or something. i know the newer one is more of a fuckaround but it would still be a pretty cool compromise if this does come to pass

If I recall correctly, a lot of admins have massive builds planned for the adminworld and the nearby areas are already full of builds in the old one.

I think it's good to semi-regularly reset it and make it available for people to download... Generally it used to be done every few major upgrades as it just got too big and a lot of people who built in it were no longer admins. I'd be keen for it to be available for download, but would say it feels like a good time to start afresh.

But yeah in which case I think clean slate is a good call. |

The bigger the adminworld is, the longer it takes for it to load so I object to restoring the adminworld.

I Object. The file size is large for the old AW and the world was extremely cluttered - you had to go quite far out for an empty spot to build things. A fresh map can enable the current generation of admins plenty of room to build without travelling extremely far for a parcel of land.
