Hmm, why do we not want people to use multiple potions? That's not the issue, it's more when people are using troll potions so its easier to track that. Eg. John12 is being reported for trollpotting, you warn them and turn on potspy. if it tells you 'john12 splashed potion' then you know hes been trollpotting again without having to watch him constantly. There is an issue however where admins will smite someone for spamming potions which I think is bullshit because it's not against the rules. Any admin doing that is not following policy. Can't you just allow players to disable potion effects so that we don't have to monitor potion usage at all? Doesn't seem like something admins need to micromanage.

It's against conduct policy to troll other players with potions, so if people are using them to troll it is something admins should be aware of and be punishing for. I think being able to become immune to potion effects is not a bad idea however it doesn't solve the issue because if u have potion effects on then people can still troll you.

I suppose so, but it just falls into an general rule of harassment against players, I'd think that the solution is to just make it easy for players to report people doing it because it doesn't seem like something admins need to be proactively watching out for.

what if it just stacked? instead of spamming your chat with [PotSpy] Username splashed SPLASH_POT at 348 34 34833 [PotSpy] Username splashed SPLASH_POT at 348 34 34833 [PotSpy] Username splashed SPLASH_POT at 348 34 34833 [PotSpy] Username splashed SPLASH_POT at 348 34 34833 it just says [PotSpy] Username splashed SPLASH_POT at 348 34 34833 [x4] Lets say that if a user splashes two potions with less than one second between each it'll show as x2 at the end of the potspy log. Hovering over the message could not only show information about the potion but could also show timestamps, and by hovering over the message, it could also mean just hovering over the x2 for the timestamps.

Unless its causing your players games to lag and at which case even then you shouldn't smite them because that is just to far. Personally I think we should just tell all admins to warn people as smiting does basically the same thing but also kills them and removes the players items.

That's a bit extreme considering the sheer amount of them, and perhaps super admins following the examples of higher ranked admins doing the same, I'd say issue a formal warning about it for now.
