He maintains the TotalFreedom org wait WHAT???!!?!!! That's why we've been using TFPatches. In the past the way it was handled and branded differed from what I wanted, and I never really confronted him about changing it until now. The TFM on there was like a separate plugin even though its meant for this server. To his defense he's only doing what Madgeek and Prozza told him.

There's no reason why Wild1145 shouldn't already have the rank of developer, upon hearing this news.

He’s been inactive and doesn’t have admin status - Lemon doesn’t possess this title nor does Aggelos, Madgeek, or Prozza, but they are apart of this official repo. If you are a member of the official repo, you possess the title in-game but if you do not possess any form of admin on the forums then you don’t receive the Developer title. This is how it’s always been.

Packs and the rest of this community were shocked to hear that he still has this much involvement in TFM.

Prozza and Madgeek actually are admins of the repo while Wild, Lemon, and Aggelos only have “Member” permissions. Correct me if I’m wrong. No offense to Ryan - the official repo has been inactive for nearly a year, in fact the last build on the “devel” branch failed. I wouldn’t consider him a manager of the repo, simply a Member just like Aggelos and Lemon. If he is actually deemed the manager by Jerom or Steven, I’d like to hear the truth from them or Ryan himself.

Hence, you don't need to be an admin as long as you're contributing.

Some commentary:
"Beta: There will be a beta server for testing. Changes on this branch are compiled by a hopefully a push of a button and pushed. Config changes will most likely need to be done by hand before rebooting it though."
I think this kind of conflicts with the goal of deployment. If you have one-click deployment, you shouldn't have to SSH in and start tampering with the deployed instance at all, in fact it would be very strange. Using something like Ansible or Puppet means that you have templates which define your consistent configuration, and anything else would be done prior to you pressing that button (a good one-click deployment web panel, for instance, lets you select Git tags or modify templates for stuff like server/plugin configuration prior to hitting go). All depends on how you do it though, but I think it should be done the most effective way.
"Public: This is the main server. I prefer hand updating this one myself to ensure everything is set and ready to go. This is because while automation is good and great, I haven’t worked with it that much, perhaps this will change in the future. This is because sometimes I need to convert data to other formats sometimes make extensive config changes, and in reality automation can’t just magically do this, and these conversions would only happen once so it doesn’t make sense to make automation do it."
The point about automation not being able to magically doing this is wrong, if you use Ansible or Puppet then you can set your templates and have it done exactly to your specification. If somehow you did have to mess around with configuration, you'd be easily able to do so in a panel prior to clicking the button. Having to convert data to other formats makes little sense to me, you shouldn't have to be converting anything when deploying an instance of the production server and just means that something is set up horribly wrong.
"While I can hotfix bugs, it requires a server reboot. I really want to move away from having to reboot the server 20 times after an initial update."
Yes, reboots should be strictly for updates, not because "it's been 20 minutes and the server needs a restart guys!!" or "I completely fucked everything up and need to reconfigure the server".
"I am also going to request a rebranding away from the “TotalFreedomMod Coders Organization” and to official branding like on TFPatches. This will require “owner” permissions for me as I own the server and lead development on it, it only makes sense. "
I agree with the rebranding, but since Madgeek created the mod and to my knowledge owns everything about it, is he not the entitled owner of the org? GitHub separates permissions into roles such as read, write, admin. I think that only the lead developer and the original authors (Madgeek & Prozza) should be in that admin role.
