I put it in General Discussion for a reason... This doesnt imply at all that you actually want to have a discussion about it. You're simply stating your opinion with no effort to reconcile the other side. Thats incredibly arrogant and almost always leads to drama. nothing in the policy said we were. and we aren't. I thought I made it clear in suggestion threads, guess I need it in 500 point bold red font, because people aren't understanding: total freedom is not a democracy

It's pretty concerning when the only argument against the ownership policy I'm seeing is coming from a guy who genuinely believes that there's some behind the scenes grand conspiracy involving me and our executives to remove you from power.

If I want to change the ownership policy or any policy for that matter I can do it if I wish to. I'm not obligated to listen to the community every single move I make, no one ever did this to this extent with Mark or windows.

Mark and Windows always listened to community feedback, although they were both heavily criticized for their actual actions (or lack thereof in Windows's case I guess) in response to suggestions and not sure why you feel obligated to face that same criticism when all it achieves is people rightfully angry at you. 72% of people opposed your policy, I offered a compromise, it was ignored.

When have all of the executives banded together to coup the owner behind closed doors again?

That's something you added to this, not me.

Locking threads and suspending people for critism marking it as "drama" doesn't sound like always listening to community feedback to me.

That's something you added to this, not me. What the actual fuck are you talking about now? The ownership policy requires like an unanimous amount of executives to remove the owner and that's only if something severe happened, I doubt Finest is going to want to remove the owner for no valid reason (and that would obviously go for the rest of executives). I don't think LightUK is an executive.

Correct, which is why I'm saying that it's ridiculous for you to not want to improve past that and actually listen to community feedback (if you recall, when you applied to become the owner that was one of your stated goals) just because of what previous owners have done.

Dude 95% of the time I listen to community feedback even if I don't agree with it sometimes, but when that 5% of the time when I absolutely refuse to do it I see shit like an 8 page thread of people reeing for weeks.

Half of the size of that thread is because of Wize, otherwise most of it is people in agreement (as 72% of the people on the poll voted, that's nearly a 3/4 majority). I suggested to you a compromise which was to make a thread with the original policy and allow people to suggest amendments to it to improve it rather than scrapping it, and I still don't see how that's such a horrible idea.

Because I like it how it is right now and do not want to change it. Removing an active only is an utter joke. As I keep saying windows was removed because he was unresponsive for months.
