Please bring and show all evidence you can find that would lead to an operator getting permbanned BEFORE you create a thread. Especially lately this seems to be a problem. If you submit the request, it shouldn't be other admins doing your job and providing the correct information. It looks really unprofessional to have your permban request be incomplete and being denied because of it then scrambling to find the actual evidence you do need.
Surely this cannot be hard as most of you are using the punishment logs as a reason why?

I agree. This is already part of the template, it just has to be used or the template must be modified for these details to be emphasized.

I personally encourage the use of Replay Mod to capture your sessions on the server. The mod implements the Minecraft equivalent of Doom or Quake demo functionalities, and as a result saves massive amounts of disk space and downloading time in comparison to using screen recording software like OBS.

Would it be sufficient to just link the punishment log? I think everyone has access to it and if you tell people what to Ctrl + f it should be effectively the same as the screenshot jag posted on the recent permban request.

No, because the punishment log does not include sufficient evidence required for actually making a case. The punishment log only contains details about the punishments themselves, not details in regards to what the user was punished for (e.g. logs, recorded evidence, and screenshots)

If they have upwards of 20 punishments mostly for griefing, and multiple admins can vouch for this, surely that's sufficient? EDIT: eg. totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/66790/paffs

No. The punishment log alone is still not solid enough evidence to convict someone for serial griefing. All evidence of serial griefing should have solid evidence of the offender griefing per incident (such as Replay Mod recordings, CoreProtect logs, screenshots, etc).

Let's not even mention "joke" bans, which are still saved to the record so even if it was a joke.

We should not be expecting our admins to screenshot every ban they give out, that's what the punishment log is for. If you have that many bans on record AND a bunch of admins are confirming they've seen you consistently break the rules, surely thats enough.
