Then should it not at least carry the TF principle of not being able to ban people outside of the rules? It states in the SMP conduct policy that staff are able to punish players as they see fit. Fionn used his situational judgement and decided the situation warranted a ban. Now what you're saying is contradicting what Fionn himself is saying. Are you just making stuff up as you see fit?

"VideoGameSmash12 » i griefed it again because i had no clue you changed the rule 28 minutes prior and didn't announce your changes like at all"

This repeated for around 30 minutes.

The channel logs aren't showing that so I'll let Video himself speak in regards to that, but I thought the idea of SMP was that there can't be "admin interference" in builds?

He's saying it fell into a formal rule, you're saying he just banned him as he saw fit, and I would argue that's not the type of system that belongs on a TF official server at all. The Minecraft server doesn't allow admins to ban as they see fit, the forum doesn't allow sanctions to occur as are seen fit, the discord doesn't allow admins to ban as they see fit...

And I'm arguing that there's no place to have that rule as an official server, I wouldn't care if it was simply an associated server, but Seth has declared it to be an official server in which case it should not have a rule like that at all. Imagine if the regular server's conduct policy had a rule like that, it opens the door for admins to make up their own rules and do whatever they want. Bearing this community's name as an official server, I think there should be some adherence to the theme.

This is literally just going to another topic that will either rollercoaster around or will accumulate 20 more pages. Also, the ban was justified. Video himself said it, I guess he's happy being better of being banned than having all these pages of crap. He also said that himself.

He posted the thread today with images from a month ago before the rule was put into place, why would he now be banned if it wasn't even against the rules? I do think that it's retroactive enforcement of rules especially long after the ship already sailed.
