Then we should not have an "SMP Manager" title or category for it on the forums and it should instead be moved to a subboard of the Associated Servers board. It was decided that it would be mutually beneficial to give the SMP a more prominent spotlight. Oh, so if any other admin creates an associated server they get their own category on the forums too?

Now this is "he said she said". Were there rules or weren't there? The rules were put in place on the 21st of April. Caleb griefed the base later that day. Correction: A revision was made to the SMP Conduct Policy on April 23 that banned the griefing of unclaimed bases. Prior to this revision, the policy did not ban the griefing of unclaimed bases. I griefed it 2 days before this revision was in effect.

It was decided that it would be mutually beneficial to give the SMP a more prominent spotlight. Oh, so if any other admin creates an associated server they get their own category on the forums too? Not that I’m aware of. The associated server policy states that an associated server owner can request a sub-board, but as far as I know there is no policy regarding forum categories and boards (e.g up to Owner discretion), and an associated server is not required to have a sub-board.

Why does it deserve its own entire category on the forums if it's just an associated server? I seem to recall Seth declaring it an official TF server. If this is no longer the case, it should really just be moved to a subboard.

Then should it not at least carry the TF principle of not being able to ban people outside of the rules?

It states in the SMP conduct policy that staff are able to punish players as they see fit. Fionn used his situational judgement and decided the situation warranted a ban.
