Simple suggestion:
Start enforcing the activity policy (https://totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/64226/activity-policy-20-jun-2019) that we used about a year ago which included monthly admin removals based on both forum and server activity, using the activity log system. I suppose doing this would start with whatever admin officer we end up getting soon, but it's something that needs to be done. I don't know if or how activity removals have even been managed at all since the last forum/server removal threads which were probably last done in 2019, but it would be nice to use this policy again.

Why? The policy was created for a reason, if we're no longer handling inactivity then our policies should reflect that.

Remember not everyone has free time to play on this server just because of the lockdown, some people don't have a stable internet connection or any at all, lots of people are unemployed and that's causing some issues, so yeah

Clearly it isn't a new thing that activity isn't being monitored.

Nero was appointed in late January. We started begining work in early February. The plan was to hold monthly activity checks, like the ones in the past. I posted the COVID thread in March, and it felt wrong saying "Activity checks will be on freeze, btw heres the admins removed due to inactivity."

The way I see it is if you're an admin that is always on Discord, why are you never in-game? Surely if your PC can go onto Discord and load thousands of messages, it can go on Minecraft and run too?
I don't even know why these policies are going out of effect anymore. They kept TF in balance.

I don't even know why these policies are going out of effect anymore. They kept TF in balance. here's the difference: being on discord takes literally 0 effort and can be run in the background. for example, i could be playing new horizons while i'm watching videos and if anybody wanted me they could just ping me on discord or i could be just chatting on discord. meanwhile, going on minecraft takes active efforts in order to not be kicked for afking and to actually administrate and play the game. we're not forced to play minecraft and discord is not a game. if you're talking about people in #server-chat, then that's because they're just chatting and don't want to play the game.
