Can we make it so that you have two options for suggestions: 1) normal vouch system 2) locked thread poll
Because otherwise polls clash with the v system and then when someone counts the votes and there's more objects, the poll somehow has the same vouches and then it makes problems. People wouldn't even look at the other posts anyway.

If there is a poll it overrides any kind of voting system we have with vouches/objects. People do it mainly when stating points for or against and to clarify what they are voting for.

Isn't this like a slightly modified rehash of your other poll suggestion

I prefer being able to respond than having a poll. As it allows you to justify your reasoning, a poll is a bit faceless.

The votes get mixed up because most people probably don't even look at other posts before voting totalfreedom.boards.net/thread/66642/bedrock-edition-compatibility-geyser-floodgate?page=2 (Edit) and this too, if votes majority is yes then it overrides all the objections that have good reasoning

They're not weighted and don't count more towards the decision by themselves. If the majority voted yes it's because the arguements for the decision were better than the arguements against.

I prefer being able to respond than having a poll. As it allows you to justify your reasoning, a poll is a bit faceless. That anonymity might be the only factor in whether or not a person will even answer a poll. If people feel their are going to be confronted or condemned with their vote, then why would they even want to make their opinion known to the public?

It doesn't have to be either/or, you can have a poll and you can also have people respond.
