not really. If you mute them in the channel, they are unable to talk. If you mute them in the server, they are unable to talk. I don't understand why this is such an issue. Can you explain to me why supers aren't trusted to be able to mute? Because like I said, the MC server and the actual server are both two different things. yes they are, which is why i propose we give perms in the server channel only its not like im asking we give supers permission to ban everyone from discord, im asking that super admins can do their job effectively in the server after all, that channel impacts the server

I was kidding about that, but seriously it's the same thing. I know you were kidding, but Discord and the Minecraft Server are both different. not really. Actually, this outputs onto the server so we should at least have some control over this. I don't understand why ".mute" was removed tbh, even for SrA it was pretty useful when the #server-chat was being spammed.

Actually adding onto my vouch this should be logged as well.
If you can't trust a super admin why did you vote for them to be in?

Telnet up should have this power, telnets are far more trusted than supers as they even have access to telnet (hence their name) I think they could handle this responsibility and having telnets and seniors with access to this allows much more staff to help out than just senior.

I still don't see the point in removing it from supers, it's happened before where I've muted someone in game and they just went on discord and continued spamming, I vouch to allow it for all admins.

One thing ive not seen is a downside to SAs having access, only "they're not to be trusted"

Vouch for muting from #server-chat with expiry. I'm sure you guys will figure out the best way to audit it correctly.
As for what level the command should be, Supers may be fine unless they somehow .mute <> all players using a bot. ?I'm sure telnet are able to handle the request if necessary.

Vouch only if it expires after a certain amount of time, and ofc, only in #server-chat

How about this: If you're muted on the server and have a linked discord account, give them the server muted role. If you're banned on the server and have a linked discord account, give them the server banned role. If they do not have a linked discord, then maybe make a command like /discordmute and /serverchatban? Just a solution ig
