1) McMMO - gives people something to work towards, has leaderboards in different skills and just generally makes the game much more fun.
2) Some sort of marketplace - which would obviously require some sort of an economy. The signs plugin where you can click on to buy and sell could also be useful here. This does slightly move away from the SMP aspect of the server, however as said, the server as of now isn't truly vanilla SMP anyway.
3) In relation to suggestion 2 in terms of the economy, the ability to buy more /homes (the current limit is 3), and to also have to pay to set warps, there's 7 pages of them afaik, and whilst I'm guilty of adding to this list, it would make them less common.
4) No idea if it's been fixed yet, but when you die in the end, all of your stuff gets dropped rather than you keeping it. No clue if it's on purpose, but if keep inventory is on in the main world and nether, then it would make sense for it to be on in the end.
5) Voting rewards, where you get some xp or some materials every time you vote. It gives more of a reason to vote, other than getting coins on the freeop server.
If anyone has anything else to add/change to my suggestions, please post below.

I'll look into this. 2) Some sort of marketplace - which would obviously require some sort of an economy. The signs plugin where you can click on to buy and sell could also be useful here. This does slightly move away from the SMP aspect of the server, however as said, the server as of now isn't truly vanilla SMP anyway. Establishing an economy is quite hard on a server like this. I'll try find a way to do it, though. 3) In relation to suggestion 2 in terms of the economy, the ability to buy more /homes (the current limit is 3), and to also have to pay to set warps, there's 7 pages of them afaik, and whilst I'm guilty of adding to this list, it would make them less common. I like the idea with the homes. I've removed warps 4) No idea if it's been fixed yet, but when you die in the end, all of your stuff gets dropped rather than you keeping it. No clue if it's on purpose, but if keep inventory is on in the main world and nether, then it would make sense for it to be on in the end. I've turned off keep inventory. Now when you die a chest gets placed with all your loot inside. You have 10 minutes to retrieve said loot. (/back) 5) Voting rewards, where you get some xp or some materials every time you vote. It gives more of a reason to vote, other than getting coins on the freeop server. Has been suggested in PMs. I'll look into this, too.

MCMMO is paid, also Establishing an economy is quite hard on a server like this. I'll try find a way to do it, though. You can set up a server shop where you can sell certain items for cash, such as minerals. Everyone can get a starting balance and allow players to set up shops
