1. Date - 2/26/2020
2. Reason - Logging onto accounts that are not his. Breaking Proboards TOS.
3. Did you attempt to correct the admin before suspending him/her to include a short time removal? - No, didn't know until about a day after.
4. Did you notify the admin that you removed them from and why? - Yes.
Fionn was suspended on 2/26/20 for logging onto 7 accounts using passwords found on a third party website. Although Seth had given him permission to run a security check, he does not own the individuals accounts and is still not permitted to give authority to anyone else.
Logging onto another persons account is clearly restricted, seen here - "You may not use the account, user name, or password of any other member at any time. You agree to notify ProBoards immediately of any unauthorized use of Your account, user name, or password. ProBoards shall not be liable for any loss that You incur as a result of someone else using Your password, either with or without Your knowledge. You may be held liable for any losses incurred by ProBoards, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, and representatives due to someone else's use of Your account or password."
Due to this infraction, Nero & I have ruled that Fionn will be suspended for 3 days, and his Senior admin application will be closed.
We want to stress that security is a top priority and Fionn only had good intentions, however his actions were not the correct way to handle the situation.
Fionn has accepted his suspension and does realize what he has done wrong. He will regain back his rank (Telnet admin) when his suspension is over.
