I was playing TF today and a new user named MrMango109 put an iron helmet on me through a dispenser. However when he put the helmet on it locked me and prevented me from moving. He told me it's a 1.15 glitch. Is there any way around it? He also tried it on speed and it worked on admins. This could be abused in many ways.

can't you just remove the helmet I tried that. It still locks you. You either have to do /suicide or go to spawn and that can be annoying if you're far. Also you can't rejoin.

can't you just remove the helmet you can, but you'd still be locked in place. a work around is to do /sethome and then do /home

You have to take it off and do /up 1.
Did he put it on you by force or did he ask you to test it? He just asked me to test it and told me how to fix it.

But what I do remember is it being put on randomly so I guess it could count as force. Also, even if you could do /up 1 players can always repeatedly do this to you.

He most likely used ItemizerX's attribute editing command to set movement to 0. It happened to me on my test server because I was fucking around.

If you place a boat down, going into it and then exiting will fix the problem. Also a simple /j command which stands for /jump teleports you to any block you are looking at which also fixes the problem.

This is the attribute of Movement Speed NaN. Teleporting fixes this immediately, though in 1.12, it causes the player to send illegal movement packets and get kicked.
