As of right now, SMP applications are being left on hold because of unclear votes. The main reason behind this is admin unfamiliarity with the applicant, which is to be expected as SMP applicants don't have to be active or well known. My proposal for a solution is to make admins vote based on the application (experience with the applicant can still influence votes) and not the applicant, that way familiarity won't matter nearly as much. Thoughts?

Vouch. SMP is a new thing and this will definitely speed up the process.
This method was also how TF applications were originally done.

This method was also how TF applications were originally done. This is how every server "originally" does their applications? I don't understand why this is one of your reasons to vouch. The reason why I have applications set up where you vote not only based on the application (which I doubt is a reason admins vote now), but based on familiarity with the applicant, is because my original thought process was that we'd have a lot of admins that would vote - just like admin applications. This didn't turn out to be the case. I agree with the idea you are proposing - I am going to see how applications work with the current template and see if any more questions need to be added in the future. I will edit the template note so that admins are clear they should be voting not on familiarity with the applicant, but based on the application itself. If a player has been previously blacklisted and I have redirected them to apply again for access to the SMP server, an admin will have the right to vote not only on their application, but how long their punishment has been.
