Okay, so, for the first part this rule is quite vague. If I claim an area but have a few chunks unclaimed, does that mean those chunks can be raided or the area entirely? Also, it can be tens of thousands of blocks between places, right now I'm flying 10k blocks out to a woodland mansion because I haven't claimed it, and it feels like I have too many chunks claimed. (I have about 30k, iirc)
If you don't reconsider this rule could we have multiple claims per dimension? It takes a hella long time to link up the areas so they can be claimed.

Factions is not fit for SMP because it works on the assumption of you're only gonna protect your base. In SMP servers, one can build an enderfarm here, a slime farm there, a villager breeder there, etc. Factions only allows you to claim connected chunks - opening the rest of the farms for griefers and all that.

I like factions as sort of like a clan system. is it possible to set it so you can claim unlinked land?
we could also switch to the towny plugin?
I think it better fits the server. we're not really about griefing/pvp/raiding which is what factions is about. We're more of a community with buying/selling/sharing

Other plugins that claim chunks do exist. GriefPrevention is another pl<gin which I have had a good experience with in the past. With GP you'd want to give a free gold shovel in a kit to make sure people can claim easily though.
