i don't know if anyone can help but i'm having sound issues on windows 7. every time i wake the computer from sleep, it takes forever for the sound to start playing. one of the first things i do is open spotify, and there's no sound even though it's not on mute. the only way to get it to work is to increase the volume on the slider. once i've done it, the audio starts a few seconds later. and no it's not because it's too quiet. what's weird is that even if i don't and i try and play a youtube video after using the computer for a while after waking it up from sleep, it has the same problem. it takes forever for the audio to start. my speakers are plugged into the top speaker port. i've tried plugging it on to the one on the motherboard, still the same. this happens on windows 7 and 10. had no issue on a clean install (with drivers), but as soon as i started to install programs, it happened. idk if anyone knows what the problem is. here's a list of installed programs all drivers are up to date. does anyone know what the problem is?? it's super annoying.

It could be a driver issue, but I think it's more likely 3RVX.

It could be a driver issue, but I think it's more likely 3RVX. 3RVX is just a volume HUD (since Windows 7 doesn't have one) Same problem happens on 10, where I don't need 3RVX (bc theres already a volume HUD)

Sounds like a power management related problem. Have you tried updating the BIOS, and installing chipset drivers?

Have you tried updating the BIOS, and installing chipset drivers? yeah BIOS is fine. i have no clue how to install chipset drivers. i just have the drivers for my gpu, wifi/bluetooth, ethernet, and the realtek sound manager thing i tried to download it but it said it would override my GPU drivers and then theres some master SDK or some shit but that only works on windows 10?? no clue

Select View > Devices by Type. Expand System Devices. Double-click the chipset device from the list. Select the Driver tab. Install chipset driver
