rx 5700 xt = rtx 2070 (super)/some 2080s Absolutely not? No video card objectively comes anywhere near an RTX, especially the RTX 2080. The amount of future proofing on an RTX 2080 technology wise is amazing, it will be even more powerful years from now than it is currently. NVIDIA pays top engineers to develop new ways to optimize their GPUs every day, AMD does the bare minimum to stay in competition, it's a cheap brand for GPUs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jahdQodYAg0www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0WLJXAwaY0www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7VJaOIso_Yit's very clear that the rx 5700 xt is a great bang for the buck alternative to the rtx 2070/2070 super. since when does amd do bare minimum compared to nvidia, anyways? of course, nvidia dominates the top market with the 2080 super and ti however at this $1300 price range amd is a nice bet.

AMD has the price going for it, I'll admit that NVIDIA has overpriced its GPUs for years, but a quality also comes with it that I have never seen from any other company. It depends on what you're buying it for, if you're going for the technology then NVIDIA is worth the money without a doubt. If you're going for the performance & reliability, even a GTX works great without you having to cough up thousands of dollars or having to buy from Radeon.

pcpartpicker.com/list/dKw74nprevious build i tried, you can change a few things like the mobo rx 5700 xt = rtx 2070 (super)/some 2080s i also thoroughly recommend the pc 011 dynamic razer edition case to match your other razer stuff Looks good, but is it a good alternative to the prebuilt in the original post? As I said I don't know AMD very well

As I said I don't know AMD very well r7 3700x is the same as the i7 9700k in gaming but has double the threads. the rtx 2070 super is a bit better than the rx 5700 xt. depends what you use it for, r7 is better for workstation and some thread optimised games now that i see the prebuilt, as long as it is what it advertises, it's quite a good deal.

The build square mentioned is pretty good, and you would get a solid upgrade path as AMD’s upcoming Zen 3 CPUs will stay on the AM4 socket and provide a pretty good improvement over their current CPUs. Also, PCIe 4 is nice since NVIDIA and AMD’s next GPUs will support it.

pcpartpicker.com/list/ykBHRkHere I know it's a bit above budget but check this, you might like it. I can vouch that the CX750M and B450M pro4 are good parts, I personally use them in my system. Only issue with this system is you *might* need a bios update, however mine came Matisse ready so who knows?

If you go with this build, make sure the motherboard is labeled as Ryzen 3000 ready As I said previously, I own the same board and mine came 3000 ready. Does depend on the stock though, like you could end up with old stock from pre ryzen 3000 but I don't think that's likely now.
