I'm getting a job soon and I want to save up for a gaming computer for around 1350 dollars. I'm currently seeing a cyberpower pre-built as the best option but I want to see if me building something myself is better. I want an Intel build as I'm more familiar with it( but if AMD is a better option I'll choose that) and I want to have an RTX gpu (preferably 2070 super) and the rest idk. I can spend 1500 usd but I have to pay shipping which is usually expensive The pre-built I'm looking at is www.amazon.com/dp/B07VFFCQ6L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_enBiEbVYC9ZT6Thanks

If you are capable of it, building something yourself almost always saves money.

Is there any reason why you want an RTX 2070 in particular? It's about the second most powerful GPU behind the 2080, unless you're doing something insane even a GTX 1060 would do and save you a small fortune. For CPU, Intel & NVIDIA combinations are always the most reliable, I'd argue that if you absolutely needed the power behind an RTX 2070 then you'd need the Core i7 or Core i9 to go along with it. Honestly though, even for gaming, you can easily get suckered into paying a lot for advanced hardware that you don't need. You'd still be saving money going with a Core i5 and a GTX GPU, and that's still plenty powerful for gaming.

Also more importantly I just want nice things to flex. The budget is reachable fairly easily because I don't have much else to spend on so I can afford it

it does to ireland anyway I'll check it out pcpartpicker.com/list/dKw74nprevious build i tried, you can change a few things like the mobo rx 5700 xt = rtx 2070 (super)/some 2080s i also thoroughly recommend the pc 011 dynamic razer edition case to match your other razer stuff

rx 5700 xt = rtx 2070 (super)/some 2080s Absolutely not? No video card objectively comes anywhere near an RTX, especially the RTX 2080. The amount of future proofing on an RTX 2080 technology wise is amazing, it will be even more powerful years from now than it is currently. NVIDIA pays top engineers to develop new ways to optimize their GPUs every day, AMD does the bare minimum to stay in competition, it's a cheap brand for GPUs.
