What does this actually mean in practical terms? Because I'm fairly sure there was this whole stupidly long and complex ownership policy that would supersede this either way..? There is slight historical precedence of this, Mark had Madgeek ranked "co founder", although you might argue that doesn't mean the same as co owner Madgeek really could have done whatever he wanted back in the day and that's not too far off from this. You are right that the ownership policy should be updated, though. I think my key point was traditionally co-owner suggests a second in command in the event the owner were to no longer be owner, and IIRC our ownership policy explicitly forbids an owner from picking their successor. Happy to be proved wrong, if I've mis-remembered.

Having a co-owner doesn't guarantee they will become the successor, especially considering we already have the ownership policy in place which would forbid that. We should update the policy to reflect that, though.

Majority of people here voted for it to exist, there was a controversy a while ago which led to everybody wanting it back and then it being reinstated, so it can't really not exist because it's what validates Seth's current rank and states that this server doesn't cease to exist if a problem ever happens.

I meant the thread for it. Not sure then. Unless it's been deleted recently (Ie since I posted here first) it did because I looked it up before posting on this thread... If it has been deleted then somebody is trying to change the servers policies without proper process...
