This is the version of Windows that shipped to millions of computers on July 29, 2015. Things nowadays are relatively similar to how they were back then, but there are still a few minor differences. It's kind of interesting to look back to see how much something changed over the years, in my personal opinion.

Terrible then, terrible now. How so? Windows 10 has never had quality assurance, they like to update and their updates tend to break something within the operating system and they tend not to fix anything. Get a random blue screen? Chances are you can fix it by rolling back a random maintenance update. This is reason enough to stay on Windows 7 because at least on Windows 7 if you blue screen it'll likely be related to hardware or an application instead of operating system stability, but I could write a thesis about how Windows 10 is absolutely destructive and how Microsoft has no business interest in saving it. There is a reason why they don't care as much about making money off of the operating system itself anymore, their business model has changed and there is also a reason why it's the "last Windows operating system". There is also a reason why they are trying to push out specialty versions of the operating system that force usage of the Microsoft store and lock down the system as if it was an iPhone. There is also a reason why they want to replace Win32 with UWP (except they even realized that this isn't going to work). There is a reason why they are focusing on linux integrations.
