So I have no clue how to figure this out I have my Google home linked to my Spotify and everything works from my account. But for some reason it shows up on any Spotify on the network even if it's a different account. Literally anyone who has Spotify and is connected to my wifi can play stuff. I just want it to only be linked to my account and I literally cannot find anything on Google about this. pls help

because this isn't a google issue, rather a spotify issue. i've gone to friends houses and all i would have to do to connect to a speaker or a console, is just open spotify, and look at the available devices. you don't need to be logged into anything like google homes, playstations or whatever device has spotify installed to play music on it

It's weird, because the echo does not have this problem, and yiu can only access control the echo on the device you have the alexa app plugged in to.
