Please stop dillydallying. It's making this situation far more chaotic than it needs to be. Accept the results of the poll and the 95% of the server that has voted for Seth to become the owner. You can work on an ownership policy for the future, but this is not time to execute an ownership policy, work on that later. 95% has voted for Seth, and that needs to be executed right now.
Do you really want a repeat of what just happened?
I am calling upon the top executives to formally recognize Seth as the owner and appoint him to that rank. This is the will of the people and holding this off longer is making matters worse.

I agree 100%. We need to appoint him and be done with it.
This would not only give us the stability that we need, but also more time to perfect the ownership policy if changes are required in the future.

The least conductive thing right now is making threads like this. "The Executives" aren't some cohesive unit, and so far I'm the only one that's put forth a proposal that could be used. The server isn't dying because we don't officially have an owner, the only drama is from people freaking out about it for no reason (see: threads like this). This isn't a situation which has occurred before, nor is it one that anybody planned for, and right now the best way to deal with it is in a forward thinking approach. Anybody being able to make a biased poll (naming only one person) saying "Should this person be the owner" isn't a precedent that should be set. If anyone has an actual policy proposition then feel free to pm me or just post it somewhere, but it's a process and everyone just has to deal with that fact. Sorry, but not sorry.

This thread isn't directed towards you at all, more so it's directed towards the absolute top (ex. Steven, Cow, Hockey, Finest). It's not even remotely a biased poll as I have stated in a different thread, and we're talking about a poll that 60 people here have participated in and voted for Seth. Sorry but if that's not popular, I don't know what is, if we delay this more just so that we can execute the policy in this situation then all it's going to do is waste time only to achieve what I can 100% guarantee would be the exact same result. I have stated already that I agree with the ownership policy, but not to be used right now.

Because that's where we stand right now, one week, and then we both know who will be owner. The difference though, a policy actually executed correctly or a random admin making a biased poll and then the owner being a different person. For a week's time, this is a fucking huge difference.

I'm honestly confused now. Why are you so sure that a 95% majority will change to be somebody else? I genuinely want to know your reasoning for this.

Unless you can't read properly, I've never once said this. What I've said the process how that decision arrived at is the issue, not the end result of it. The poll was biased, and that's not a precedent that should be set. This is pretty obvious in my opinion

I'm pretty sure if we hold another election/poll to pick an owner, it would be Seth anyway. Seth is the reason why the server did not die, he has shown to us that he can manage stuff.

This is pretty obvious in my opinion You implied it by saying "different person" after saying "then we both know who will be owner" in a different circumstance. I agree with you that for future cases that isn't a precedent that should be set, and the solution to that is having the ownership policy in place for any future cases, but for specifically right now I don't see the issue.

The policy isn't to change the results of this current election, it's to future proof any time something similar to this may occur in the future.
