for some reason, my internet connection has been very unstable recently, which some of you might have seen ingame. i believe it is due to the antennas on the back of my computer, but i'm not completely sure. i hope this issue gets fixed soon because it's extremely annoying to time out every 5 seconds while you're on the server.
i have a cox panoramic modem, by the way.

have you ran speed tests on your computer and on other devices? that could actually find out if your computer is the problem or the modem is the problem. if the modem is the problem, call cox and tell them the issue so they could give you an amplifier or some shit. but BEFORE calling them, restart your modem because that actually might fix something

Your connection speed is similar to mine. I had to upgrade both my router and WiFi adapter to handle the high speeds. You should be using no less than 802.11ac Wifi, or Cat5e gigabit ethernet (Cat6 preferred though). This is the WiFi adapter I use, and I get in excess of 400 Mbps out of it. It is better than what most motherboards come with speed-wise. www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-adapters/a6210.aspx
