I'm considering getting the surface pro 6, and i wondered if anyone would advise me, whether it's better to go for this model, or get the surface pro 4 instead as its much cheaper. www.argos.co.uk/search/surface-pro-6/Or what they think of previous models of surface pro

Well its for uni, but it'd prefer to get the surface pro, over the RT tablet, as it can run any exe files, rather than just windows store apps.

Did not realise they'd got past the pro 4 tbh... The surface book is also really rather good if anyone else is considering getting one, or the Dell XPS range. Depends what you're using it for, but I personally prefer my 13" Dell XPS over a Surface Pro.

They're nice products and are well-built. It's unfortunate that they are confined to the Windows operating system.
AFAIK the Dell XPS doesn't have this problem; it can be booted to run a Linux distro and/or earlier editions of Microsoft Windows.

Update:
I have decided to get the surface book 2. It's only the entry level one, but i get 15% off the price from argos, so it's not too bad.

Like the screen glitching when you dock it etc.

I'm not sure what device I want to go for then As someone who used to sell the original surface book, I used to abuse the fuck out of those and never had an issue... Cant believe a spec of dust would have bricked it. Only limitation with any of the surface devices is that only Microsoft can repair them as they (like apple) won't share parts so just be wary of that.
