I am starting to work on a new plugin which will get admin data from TFM, then assign permissions by TFM rank. The plugin will significantly enhance TFM's rank system. This will eliminate the need to block commands as much and open up new possibilities for TF, including getting rid of the customized Essentials and WorldEdit. It would also eliminate PermissionsEx as it would take its place. There would no longer be a need for admins to be added to permissions groups as this plugin will take care of that automatically. It will also prevent imposters from being granted permissions, which is something no permissions plugin that exists right now can do.

This is actually something I've been wanting to do for a long time but never could until recently. This kind of change is also necessary as it will make controlling what ops have access to a lot easier. I'm not going to just sit back and watch the server stagnate.

so basically, this gives more privileges to higher up staff? No. Think of it as a communicator with TFM and the plugins we use. It can translate the TFM ranks into permissions so we don't have to keep customizing the plugins we use like WorldEdit

We should never have installed Pex... And there are reasons that we've set the permissions up the way we have for now, and why we've got issues to build this natively into TFM...
