I have talked a little with xfilez about the new MBW-spawn, and we have come to a decision that we will change it to a newer one. I have given some suggestions on the spawn, and this is where I need your opinions. Which of these two builds would you rather have be the new MBW-spawn? The island build used to be the spawn for my old server, but since then it has just hung around on my PC left unused. The other build is a recent one which I have been working on in my freetime on my private server. The island build consists of several greek-styled buildings and planned buildings with a forest and a small cove, whereas the other build is merely a landscape with rocks, trees and a lake + a planned waterfall/stream. Of course the builds aren't finished yet, but they are at least 75% done at this stage, so it should only take a week max to finish, if we were to build several people on them at once. the choices on the poll are mixed up btw. build 1 is supposed to be the forest. if the forest gets chosen, id reccomend to add some structures

Personally I think the 2nd one is best for a spawn considering the water(1st) version will likely prohibit people from building and might promote world edits.
Other than that I don't really have much feedback. Feedback for builds hasn't ever really been up my alley unless it's a house lol

I agree with @megaf4il. I'd think that the water might restrict some builds. Then again, we can just build bridges to the land and build there.

I personally like the island build best, but it seems more logical to just start a new flatlands from scratch and build the spawn on the server. Both times we changed the world were problematic.

I personally like the island build best, but it seems more logical to just start a new flatlands from scratch and build the spawn on the server. Both times we changed the world were problematic. You do realize you can raise the built itself and copy into another flatlands? That takes less than 5 minutes. |

If you built bridges to a mainland, that would make for an awesome spawn.

I like post 1 due to the potential to go a small distance out and create unique ports and beaches which would transition into a good city. It'd also be good for establishing main direction in which we expand at first

Idea:
Make the water deep so people can build things underwater? And if they choose to do so they can go to flatlands and build.

Before I do actually set the new map in, I want to make sure that all the MB's are alright with it. Last time we changed the map several MB's lost their builds and I apologise for not asking earlier and changing the map. If you have a build in the current world, //schem it. I'll ask for the map to be changed mid-day tomorrow so if that isn't enough time tell me. |

i pretty much doubt that many master builders have any builds in the mbw cause the new mbw is kinda new
