There are multiple decent and confirmed to be secure VPNs that you can go with, I'll leave you with a list and some tips: ProtonVPN, Private Internet Access, Mullvad Mullvad I'd say is the simplest, you just go to the website, generate a token, download, and pay for it every month or whatever and the first 3 hours are free. Private Internet Access has a more lawyerish privacy policy, but despite that I honestly trust it to be secure with all the people that have used it. Has more servers than Mullvad and more features in the UI (encryption customization, etc). ProtonVPN is definitely the best out of the 3 but more expensive (I'd say $100 or $200 whatever it was a year isn't that bad considering it's an entire year but people don't like that shit apparently), has more features than the 2 including built in Tor support on some of the servers, they have their own datacenter as entry nodes for their servers to ensure extra security, has built in trust being related to ProtonMail which is an established secure email provider, some other shit, and the nicest UI I've ever seen out of a VPN. All 3 I listed have the basic features like port forwarding (actually can't confirm if ProtonVPN has this i think maybe), DNS protection, fast servers, and blocking Internet access upon disconnection. ProtonVPN has a $48/yr plan Pretty limited though, doesn't even offer secure core.

I personally use privateinternetaccess.com (PIA) as it enables me to use UDP on port 53 (same port as DNS). Not because I think it's a smart idea (it isn't) but instead because 53 isn't blocked and if anyone looks at the DNS traffic it'll confuse them. Also UDP is superior to TCP when it comes to speed. I would really like PIA to have UDP/25565 as an option. Poor network administrator sniffing the packets and sees 5+ gigabytes transferring to 25565. When netadmin Google searches the port, see it's Minecraft and just thinks it's some 13 year old playing a video game.
If I need to be discreet about my usage, I use Tor my local computer running an obfs4 bridge on 443.

I feel that's the one thing I would disable my VPN just to let the admin see (if it wasn't censored). Discretion is nice when searching medical information.

Try Windscribe, you can get 2gb free and you can get even more for doing certain things I've got the 15gb limit, not sure if they still do that anymore...

Fucker wtf would you do that's discreet other than porn Its often used to get through internet filters (Well using port 53 anyway) which is why most good system engineer / network admins will block direct traffic to port 53 and route you through their own internal DNS Servers to prevent that from happening. As for transferring over 25565, that seems stupid because it just draws attention to yourself, you're surely better off blending in with the rest of the traffic going out on 443 anyway...
