Or possibly force them to vote, they would have to vote to gain access to the server for 24 hours. Good thing you're not in charge because that would kill the server overnight. Also vouch. |

Also. maybe, we block off some op commands, like w/e or /nick /tag and make a 3 second chat restriction to prevent spam. They can still have some cmds like gmc and such, but most cmds can be unlocked by voting.

Okay, I just thought of another thing, top 10 people who voted the most would be listed on forums in a weekly/monthly thread depending on the voting website reset time. This could also encourage people to vote, I also wouldn't mind making the weekly thread my self, if nobody else would do it. Then top 3 people with most votes would get an opportunity to go around admin world, and Master Builder world (if it ever gets added)for about an Hour, maybe more/less? People who voted 100 times, could get a forum title, 100 Votes, then 1000 votes, etc. Would it hurt if we added a coloured chat into the game? People who voted 10x Could type green, 100x blue, 1000x Yellow, etc. They could disable or change the coloured chat to colours they already unlocked. Admins could of course have any colour chat they want, without the need of voting.
Optional thing could be blocking /nick and /tag and only those who voted would be allowed to use it again. However this would mean taking away freedom from OPs which is not the greatest of ideas.
- TL;DR -
- Create top 10 voters list weekly/monthly
- Top 3 Voters gain access to Admin World or (if added) Master Builder World for limited time.
- Add coloured chat settings, the more you vote the more colours you unlock, but you can disable coloured chat.
- People with 100 or more votes could get a forum title. e.g. 100 Votes, 1k Votes, etc.
- Optional -- Block /nick /tag until player votes, then blocks again after 24 hours.

I vouch but I remember on UMC I would always lose my voting perks and got annoyed and never voted again

You're taking away the "Freedom" from the players that are joining to burn free time. vouch - but I believe majority of the websites that lets you advertise doesnt allow offline servers. If we were to change the server to online mode, that'd only decrease the playerbase since most of the players that are online are using pirated version of the game |
