You don't even necessarily need to buy the latest stuff when it comes out, but prices of current cards will drop once newer ones come out. GPU prices are also highly inflated right now, and a year from now you could get a 1080 for what you would pay for a 1060 now. I’m doing it mostly to upgrade my system, so really you never answered my original question. Do you think I could run an RX480 4GB with an i7 7700k without bottleknecking from either one? And no added benefit if I go with the 1060. Your gpu would be the biggest bottleneck, but a 1060 would not solve that

I don’t have a 580 nor do I have two 480s Ah, my bad. I mistook you for Polska ?ywno?? Oh my fucking gosh do we really have to go over this again? I dont have two 580's it wouldnt fit in my case, and the processor I have kicks the 8700k's ass. Please shut up and stop bothering me about that.

(I’ll probably just take you up and wait for the Vega and the Volta and buy the 1080ti when it drops in prices.
