First of all please learn how to spell 'basdic' words.
Second I have no idea what that even means. What "basic ass code" do you want to learn?

You will have to learn the basics of Java and will take time to get used to the Bukkit API. I would recommend watching Jordan Osterberg's Tutorials on Java (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU4l-rcgzQg&list=PL_PpCEhxOB-2HtNVswA8PuUG0NZBNJs7t) before he goes into his Java tutorials (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyayFKNVaKs&list=PL_PpCEhxOB-3syYcs0L4Lxj84JJJRZo3p).

I don't know how to code in BASIC, you'll have to ask someone else I'm not sure if he quite understands the difference between different coding languages, and you don't really have to be blunt about it. ONT: My best advice for Banter is to practice what he has been taught in tutorials to get used to how the code works, I can help him out occasionally if he needs anything.

It was a joke regarding the language known as BASIC and not intended as something directly aimed at him but rather an attempt at humor. Jokes aside though, do your best and remember to understand the code more than you understand the language.

Might I suggest Brainfuck? The Hello World program is pretty easy! [ This program prints "Hello World!" and a newline to the screen, its length is 106 active command characters. [It is not the shortest.]
++++++++[>++++[>++>+++>+++>+<<<<-]>+>+>->>+[<]<-]>>.>---.+++++++..+++.>>.<-.<.+++.------.--------.>>+.>++.
Or what about the Malbolge programming language? Here's Hello World in that. (=<`#9]~6ZY32Vx/4Rs+0No-&Jk)"Fh}|Bcy?`=*z]Kw%oG4UUS0/@-ejc(:'8dc

Or go start somewhere really easy like python. If you need a place to learn it ask.

In my opinion Rust is quite good. Otherwise Go isn’t bad and Ruby is quite easy. It really depends on what you want to do. If you want to learn to make Minecraft plugins you’ll have to go Java, but I’ve been avoiding it lately (After AQRPM and UppercasE hell).
10 PRINT ”You wanted some BASIC too?” 20 GOTO 10 RUN

python is a great start for getting a hang of coding and how general syntax for most languages works, though if you're set on making bukkit plugins java is what you need to learn
