What if one of your family is an IT Manager and he manages everything about your internet network system and he checks and can realize DDoS attacks? what if your lying ont: i'm always on a private vpn so i dont need to worry about ddosing

As far as I am aware if you have no open ports on your ip then you cannot be ddosed. That is what multiple people have told me and what the internet has confirmed, but correct me if I am wrong.
