Over the 2 years of use of Windows 10, I have had more blue screens, lockups, and problems with performance than my experience with Windows 8.1. This, along with all the other flaws with Windows 10 that have not been corrected since 2015, made me wonder if I should downgrade.
The question is, should I downgrade to Windows 8?

Personally I have never had any issues with Windows 10. You should if you are having troubles with Windows 10. How old is your computer?

In July 2015, Windows 10 was installed on to the computer for the first time. After a hard drive corruption in February 2016, I reinstalled Windows 10 onto the computer. The problem is, when I used Windows 8.1 on it, I never had any problems with it.

Yes, it would be a smart decision for many reasons, from both security, usability, and performance points of views.

Personally, I prefer Windows 8.1, they have less bugs or performance lags. I know some people though, whose computers are running windows 10 smoothly.

I don't really like Windows 8, if I were you, I'd go with Windows 7.

I've also had the same problems that you stated, I might downgrade as well, but when I downgraded to windows 8.1, I had to send my PC to the shop because it fucked up so badly, that the WiFi never worked on it again. Not even Ethernet worked on it.

That could also be the case, but right now, I'm completely downgrading from Windows 10 Pro, back to Windows 8.1 Pro.

I can't downgrade it. That isn't necessarily true. It depends on if your motherboard supports legacy BIOS or not. My motherboard supports both UEFI and legacy BIOS, and as such could boot old versions of Windows if I wanted to.

Downgrade. The computers that run it smoothly are made to run it; Windows 10 is more of a bug-test trial. TBH I like 8.1 better.
Though, Windows 7 is the best.
