To think I was surprised that Galahad tagged me - then it hit me what this thread actually was. As Oliver said above, this feels so weird saying a goodbye message even though you're still going to be here haha. Nonetheless, though, I shall continue. markbyron I would like to thank you especially for not only founding this fantastic server, but also creating one of the most unique server ideas I have ever heard of in these 7 or so years of Minecraft's creation. You've inspired so many other owners too. I would also like to thank you for OPaS'ing me. The server you founded has changed me as a person. I've grown consistently more mature, level-headed, compassionate, and I would like to thank you especially for this. I was originally a FreedomOP player, where I set a name for myself in this Free-OP server chain. When I saw FreedomOP starting to die, I came to TF, I didn't want my experience to go to waste. I always knew that the owner of TF was a pillar of the community, but in coming here, I've truly seen how important you actually have been to the server. You've been my mentor, and am sure most of the server has looked up to you too. So thanks Mark, for creating this wonderful community, this family of ours. I guess this opens the 'gates' of the future for you A bunch of P:S P.S I was listening to 7 years when I stumbled on this thread, coincidence? I think not P.S.S Thanks Harry Hart (Galahad) for the kind words, P.S.S.S I'm not going to lie when Windows was promoted to Global Administrator I was thinking this time might be arriving soon

Thank you, mark. You have changed the lives of many people from the newbies, to pro, to admin, to sen. Admin. As this will continue to grow, this will become more thankful. Mark made the right choice despite the fact he was stressed out, and didn't want to make the choice. In the end, we were all noobs at one point, some of us even got to the point we'd be the rank of administrator on forums. The bans that Mark had applied also made a change in everyone's emotions, and made them feel what they need to feel.
So thank you, Mark, so much.

I don't even know what to say...
Mark, I know you've already seen my PM a few weeks ago but I want to say it again.
I've seen Total Freedom evolve and change throughout various different obstacles; from people leaving and joining to new features and updates. This is just another change that we need to go through to make this server thrive once more. I am perfectly fine with you leaving Total Freedom after the history we have made together as a community. I am sure that you're surprised that you've ran the server since it's been started up in 2010. Not a lot of owners could last that long and kudos to you for actually accomplishing that. I understand that a lot can happen in your life in 7 years and if you need to move on from this community and carry on to the next stage in your life, we're not stopping you.
Total Freedom has changed my life (as well as everyone else I'm sure) in so many levels it's hard to describe. I know I may sound goofy however, I joined the server when I was 13 years old (I'm 17 now). It has helped me develop my maturity and leadership skills that are a necessity in life and not a lot of people can say that. It has also made me learn to work hard and remain calm in intense environments. I've managed to maintain a job at Domino's and with the hard work I've done, I was able to quickly rise in ranks to assistant manager at the age of 16 all because of this server and how it has helped me. Without you and your strong efforts to keep this server alive and well, I would be lost. Like I said, I know that sounds stupid but it's true. Thank you.
It's hard to see you move on, but I understand. We all do. But you put it in good hands.

It has been a great 3 years for me. As some of you know, I also started out as a rulebreaker and troll. But, your decisions made me stop. Your service has made positive impact on my real life. I had alot of family issues, but TotalFreedom helped me cool down and chill - something that some people might consider weird because "it's only a block game". I got so many new friends, and thats only thanks to you, because without you, this wouldn't happen. You made a really good choice - Windows is guaranteed going to do good to this server. I thank your for your service mark, I really do.

TotalFreedom helped me in a way no other Minecraft server did, in a very positive way. Thank you for creating this amazing project of a server, and to many more great years with Windows.

Congratulations to _Windows. As xfilez said he won't abandon us so don't worry. It's still hard to think that markbyron is no longer taking the role of this anymore. Although this happens I am delighted that _Windows will be taking the wheel and carrying the ship for us and he is a very good choice to pick. He has contributed to the server in many ways and I am sure he will not sink TotalFreedom but instead, sail beyond our limits. I have no words to say, all I could do is say congratulations to him. markbyron you have been a good owner for the past 7 years and you would never give up. Most of my friends who have been owners of servers for many years have not succeeded for 7 years of minecraft. They mostly give up but markbyron adapts himself for every change. Back then everything was not like the current but markbyron still lives with it. He can handle everything back then and could do it with the past few months. He is the best owners I've ever seen. Other big servers (bigger than totalfreedom) also has a good owner but not to the point of being so mature and can handle everything. Markbyron has worked hard times and times again. Sacrificing his times and things he should normally do in life but for other's goods. Although he is no longer owner he will still come on and never abandon us. He will still be in our mind no matter if he quits or not. He is still the very great owner of TotalFreedom. _Windows will take the responsibility of markbyron and will surely do an exceptionally well work like markbyron did. I have no words to say but to summarize this - markbyron, you've been an exellent owner. We will miss your role of handling executive problems and issues. Apart from that, Windows will succeed just like markbyron and he will continue to benefit the server. TotalFreedom will grow.

Sorry to see you go, Mark. You've created something special here. If you say that Windows is your man, then I have faith in him too.
Best of luck in whatever you choose to do next.
