This has less to do with HP specifically and more to do with the third party software they add to laptops (why are manufacturers legally allowed to do this). Either way HP is a horrible company that makes low quality hardware.

was about to say that this is why you build your fucking pc but nevermind, pretty sure it's not exactly easy to build a laptop also my mother uses an HP laptop so she's fucked.

Just re-install windows with a usb drive you burn yourself. It's easier than building if you just don't want bloatware. A sticker on the back of your computer/laptop should have the product key.

lmao... Suddenly this becomes "Oh you have HP you are screwed" I have checked atleast 4 HP PCs with no sign of this crapwar so obviously not everyone is affected.
