A man by the name of Joe. As a kid, Joe lived on the farm with his two parents and sister Catherine. Both got along just fine. One day their parents couldn't keep the farm because they had a bad harvest. They had to give it up. The family moved to the city where they sat on the street begging for money. Most people walked by. Some helped. Others glared. It was hard for them. They sat on the same spot for the next ten years of their lives, making do with what they had. Joe finally got a job and supported his family. A year later his parents died. He was heartbroken; but he still had his sister. Catherine was now old enough to get a job. She got one and found a boyfriend. Joe found a girlfriend. The two siblings slowly became separate of one another, and their independence really began to shine. They got married, had kids, and now live in separate states, although they contact each other every now and then.
