Yay why am i saying yay but yay ive got my 11+ today yay Good luck with that! I remember doing my 11+ back when i was 11, the good ol' memories. I'll give you some tips from my knowledge: Maths: Make sure not to do "silly mistakes". These include decimals, conversions and the basic add, subtract, multiply and divide. Verbal Reasoning: If you don't know what a word means, look at all the options and give it your best shot. Non verbal reasoning: Make sure to look at all the shapes and analogies very carefully. When spotting differences, go for the easy ones first, then decide which one is the correct answer. English: Read the comprehension twice. On the first time, just skim through it. After that, have a look at the questions and remember them. Then read for the second time, this time, underline answers to the questions you just remembered. Also underline some words you don't know. Tell me what schools you'r applying for. I applied for Westminster School and I passed. Merchant Taylor's exams are damn easy. Remember all the points above and you should do fine. Real thing is on Thursday, different to what my sister did 3 years ago because things change but I think it's probably better now than it was. Wish me luck  |
