One of the games I have seems to run just fine with the Denuvo DRM. However, I do not like the idea of the files being all encrypted on a PC game because it makes modding the game harder. Encrypt the game files on consoles, sure... but a lot of people play on PC for the flexibility of modding the games.
DRM like this doesn't hurt pirates as much as it hurts paying customers. Improper use of DRM can actually increase piracy, not decrease it.
Steam is one of the few DRM systems I actually like, because it is mod-friendly.

I believe trying to make uncrackable DRM is not a reasonable goal; big companies keep throwing large sums of money at it, and groups usually consisting of nothing more than hobbyists crack it a few months later and make it available to the entire world for free. That's not to say this isn't a blow to game developers, but it's also a reminder that you can't blindly rely on these technologies.
