I would like to put out a reminder for anyone looking to either buy or sell artwork or services.
It has come to my attention that there has been a lot of scammer activity from both sides of the market here in our TotalFreedom community. Without naming anyone specific, I would like to remind you that scamming is both illegal and immoral.
Artists, hosts, or anyone offering services will most likely expect payment (unless forementioned). If you agree to pay someone, you must pay them, and within a timely manner. If you do not have the money to buy or commission a service, then you should not consider making any deals in the first place.
If someone is putting their time and effort into doing something you want them to do, they deserve the agreed payment.
Inversely, sellers may also scam customers. If you are a seller and you have been paid, you are expected to follow through with your commitment.
Also keep in mind that scamming is a bannable offense. If a staff member is caught scamming in any way, they are subject to indefinite suspension.
