For both current and future admins, you should consider getting a free alternative email account for additional privacy and security. If your existing email address appears in hacked databases such as haveibeenpwned.com, you'll be required to use a different address if selected for admin or you're an existing admin. While you can of course get the best known such as GMail, Yahoo, or Outlook, they tend to lack privacy and/or want info such as your phone number. Here are a couple of suggestions that make it easy to create an alias. protonmail.com (based in Switzerland) tutanota.com (based in Germany)

^bump. Even if your email address doesn't appear in hacked databases such as haveibeenpwned.com, it doesn't mean that you're safe from being DOX'd - that is somebody using various websites and tools to see what kind of private personal information they can obtain from your email address. For example, if you the same email address for Proboards as you do for Facebook, somebody might be able to discover your real name. Bottomline, if you use your proboards email address on other sites, you could be easily DOX'd and you're more vulnerable to hacking. Just one of countless search sites that does reverse email searching is socialcatfish.com/reverse-email-address-search/ - hopefully you'll get a, "bummer - no records found" or the results are completely wrong when searching your email address. So I strongly suggest that you use an alias email address for Proboards because any admin has the capability to view your email address here. Once you have a new email address, goto www.proboards.com/account/settings and change it. if somebody does try to DOX you, never give any confirmation or clues that they got the right OR wrong information. If somebody publishes your personal info but it's wrong, good but don't say anything. If they publish correct information, not good but still don't say anything.
