This server runs the Madgeek created BukkitTelnet plugin, which allows a generic Telnet client to connect to the server and issue remote commands as well viewing all real-time logging activity. See this link for more info: goo.gl/AbQbp
To obtain Telnet access and become a Telnet Admin, you must wait at least 8 weeks from time you were first appointed as a super admin and you will normally need at least one senior admin recommendation or vouch. The approval authority for Telnet admin are the Executive Admins.
Note: If you were a former Total Freedom Telnet admin, do not fill out this application - fill out the reinstatement application per goo.gl/hQFLRB
1. Your Minecraft name: (also include any old IGNs and forum names that you used as an admin)
Mychaeljkmax. For old usernames, i've used MCSNTF_90 and LOOOLLLL. For old forum displaynames, i've used MCSNTF_90/LOOOLLLL, Quintillion56, and jkmaxplayzmc, etc.
2. Your Twitter handle (if available but not required):
@survivornation9
3. What date were you appointed to super admin status? For example 10 May 2014.

4. How many times you were removed from super status due to rules violations (do not include instances of removal for inactivity). If none, state none. If you were suspended, state how many times and the last date you were suspended; you must wait 4 weeks from the time you re-gained super following the suspension.
None
5. How would you rate your knowledge of administrative commands associated with the telnet plugin? Please carefully study the Telnet for Dummies instruction message at: goo.gl/tE17KV and state either none (don't know the commands), beginner (read the instruction once), advanced (memorized the instructions), or expert (have previous Telnet experience from an associated Total Freedom server such as CJ)
Expert (and I own a totalfreedom type server)
6. How would you rate your knowledge of Telnet and do you have the required software to use Telnet? State either none, beginner, advanced, or expert.
Expert and yes
7. Telnet Clan, Senior or Executive Admin Recommendation. If applying before the 8 week waiting period (but no earlier than 4 weeks), you must have an executive level admin recommendation. If applying after the 8 week waiting period, you should first list any Senior or Executive level recommendations followed by Telnet Clan recommendations however without a senior recommendation or senior vouch, any valid senior objection or multiple senior objections will result in automatic disapproval. Do not apply unless you have at least a Telnet Clan recommendation or higher.

I believe that I am fit for Telnet for many reasons. First of all, as I explained in question 5, I rate myself expert on commands associated with Telnet. I know almost every Telnet command and in which situation and under which circumstances it is appropriate to use. For example, I know the following commands: /csay, /adminmode, /onlinemode, /ops purge, /banlist purge, nonuke, /doom, /saconfig add, /saconfig remove, /saconfig clean, /wipeflatlands, /wipeuserdata, /lockup, /lockup purge, and so on. The situations in which I would execute these commands are specifically explained in the paragraphs to follow.
When would I use the /csay command? The /csay command is for Telnet admins and higher to speak through the console in global chat - it's not for server announcements or important messages - therefore, i'd use it to substitute normal global chat in-game while in Telnet console.
When would I use the /adminmode command? (e.g, /adminmode on/off) I would use this command only when instructed to by a higher authority such as the executives, owner, or developers, or when completely urgent and necessary for obvious reasons. (e.g, rogue admin false banning multiple users, abuse through the Telnet console which is causing major distruption in server administration and gameplay)
When would I use the /onlinemode command? (e.g, /onlinemode on/off) I would use this command to either deactivate player validation or to secure the server from spambots, or hackers and trolls using cracked accounts and proxies/names such as vlad or frequent user. I would also not use this command for any reason if not necessary. For example, if 2 spambots joined the server, i'd just ban them, and unless the bots caused distruption or prevented the server from being properly used by admins or all players in general, i'd just keep banning and leave onlinemode off.
When would I use the /ops purge command? Only when instructed to by a higher authority with the right to order me to do so, such as a developer. Otherwise, I would never execute the command unless instructed to by the owner.
When would I use the /banlist purge command? I've heard that this command is for the owner only - so of course, not unless instructed to do so by a very high authority such as mark himself.
When would I use the nonuke command? Of course, to manage the anti-nuking system. When would I use the /doom command? I'm not sure that I have access to that command. As a matter of fact, I believe it's for Seniors only. So, I would not use it, but I know how, and if I ever were to use it, it'd be to ban an extreme nuisance or troll in which was out of control or to ban an admin or two causing or starting flame wars or drama for a long-term duration, which in this case, can be 15 minutes until it gets major and out of hand.
When would I use the /saconfig add command? ONLY when an user has verified their admin status through the shoutbox when flagged as an impostor OR a newly approved admin applicant who verifies their admin profile rank through their profile link. I'd use the opposing command (/saconfig remove) if an admin wasn't behaving correctly, but only for up to 4 minutes. If what the admin was doing made them subject to suspension, i'd keep them removed but PM mark straight away.
When would I use the /saconfig clean command? When instructed only, as it would remove all admins who have been inactive for a specific number of hours. When would I use the /wipeflatlands command? Of course, only when the flatlands were corrupted with crash items, exploits, or bugs. Of course, i'd have to get permission from a higher authority such of that as an executive or developer, as I wouldn't normally be permitted to use such a command unless I was at least clanforge or higher, i'm sure.
When would I use the /wipeuserdata command? I'd only use this if instructed to by a very high authority, again, such as mark himself, as it would wipe all user data. And no, /wipeuserdata is NOT the same as /purgeall, in which all admins can use freely.
When would I use the /lockup command? Only when 100% necessary, but i'll also have to learn more about that command. So far, i'm sure that it at least blocks commands and/or movement, possibly. Last but not least, the /rawsay command. I'd use that command for global messages in chat, although it's never relavant or necessary to do so, so it wouldn't be a critical task for me.
Not only am I good and efficient with commands such as these however also I am skilled with my administration on the server so far in general. I am vigilant of rulebreakers on the server, and I often look into commandspy. When I notice someone breaking a rule (e.g, attempting to /deop another player) I smite them or warn them through /say. I can often get 4 smites in in 5 minutes, and i've also banned 3 spawn griefers in 5 minutes in the past. Not only that, but I take into consideration whether or not someone should be banned when creating a lag machine. For example, if the lag machine is not currently activated but is also not a grief machine, I will rollback the creator and warn them not to create things such as those, since they have the potential to be lag machines. If the lag machines are obviously going to create severe server distruption (e.g, they are massive) I will ban the creator for 'Potential major lag machine', etc. If I see the machine activated however not producing much lag, I will not ban however give a warning after the rollback that the structure has the potential to lag the server and is not allowed.
I have also been able to perform multiple mini-sanctions at once before. For example, i've been able to spontaneously smite a player or two while having another player or two with blocked commands or a mute. In the end, i've always been able to block the commands, unmute the player, and use /opall to give the second or last chances to the players who breached conduct, with no problem.
I hope you consider my application, and i'm sorry for the misunderstandings of the past 2 applications. The last one was only withdrawn because of my resigning which will not happen again. This application is here to stay, this time. I hope i've demonstrated my knowledge and skill. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
Note: Only list the questions if you have a Yes response. If the answer is No to every question, you should probably apply at a later date when you can give a Yes answer to at least one item.
8. Do you have a family member that's been on the perm ban list within the 60 past days? If yes, you're not eligible for promotion consideration.
No
9. Have you read and understood the notes below?
Yes
Note 1: After your application is posted, there will be a waiting period of up to one month before approval. If an admin asks you a direct question, you should reply. If an admin objects and give reasons that you believe are incorrect, you may reply to state why you believe the reasons are incorrect and nothing more; do not rage or get dramatic - just state facts and do not reply more than once; no debates.
Note 2: Admin misconduct or abuse while on Telnet will be dealt with far more severely than when in-game. Also, if you login to Telnet and pose as a different admin or as the owner, you'll be subject to severe sanctions including loss of admin and banning. Using Telnet to commit rogue acts will result in permanent banning.
