Also try removing the battery and doing a static discharge, it often works. Steps: 1:Turn off computer 2:Remove battery safely 3:Remove power cord 4:Hold down the power button and count to 45 (45 Steamboats [1 steamboat, 2 steamboat, ect]) 5:Plug in Power cord ONLY Not the battery. 6:Turn on computer, Computer will take longer to boot up as it has no electric current going through it at all. 7:When computer is fully booted up turn off and plug in the battery and turn on again. (If it doesnt turn on with the battery inside, the battery is dead) 8: If it doesnt turn on at all, i suggest Googling this, '<Model> <Brand> Wont turn on and is beeping <Enter amount if in sequence>' [Example: Asus P4C800 wont turn on and is beeping 7 times] How to find the model: www.asus.com/ca-en/support/article/565/ (Different brands may have different ways)

Was there a storm or rain last night? Because if you left it plugged in during a storm, maybe that's the reason. Or it could just be something else. It happened to my old Dell Inspiron Laptop. And I had to get a new laptop.

Sometimes laptops just make it so they are full of shit and don't power on without the charger even though YOU HAVE A BATTERY. Solution. Keep your charger plugged in.
