I'm about to buy a killer 4GB VPS. I'm new to VPS', but I'm getting the hook of it. I'm also buying two domains. I want to install a Minecraft server and a web server. Is this possible? I want to know before I spend 250$ on a VPS, and two domains.

First off, you're spending far too much money on a 4GB VPS (check out Proxious  ). Also, you can run as many things as you like on them as long as you've got the resources and no conflicting ports. |

You just run them on different ports, etc minecraft on 25564 (vps is probably shared) and the webserver on something like 86 (probably a webserver already on that port) and then you point the two domains to that ip witht the ports It's a VPS, you get a dedicated IP. He can easily run Minecraft on 25565 and his website on 80. |
