To preface this, I'll quote the admin conduct rules of respect found on the Total Freedom Website:
"Respect between admins is essential on the server and on the forums. Personal disputes, insults, criticisms, and complaints between admins are to be handled off-server and in-private (Forum PM, Twitter DM, Skype, etc). Respectful disagreement on server and forum matters is allowed but minus calling out individuals, personal attack, insults, trolling, false accusation, and the like. The rule also applies to forum (including admin sections) or anywhere that the dispute might be viewed by the general public or other admins (e.g. Discord). Ex-Admins or suspended admins who continue on the server as regular OPs or a regular on the forum will be held to same standard of conduct between admins and failure to do so will result in temporary or permanent bans (server and forums)"
If you have a conflict or problem with another admin, here's the recommended steps to take.
1. There's always going to be minor disagreements on the server but when it gets personal or out of hand (esp. if other admins warn about it), it's time to privately address your concern with the admin(s) you're having a conflict; even in private, try to avoid drama and offer compromises.
2. If 1 doesn't work, ask any available senior admin for their assistance in resolving the problem or even ask a Telnet admin if the problem is just between super admins. Again, keep the matter private - don't address it on the server. If you're a senior and the person you're having a problem with is another senior admin, you can skip to 3.
3. If both 1 & 2 don't work or the problem is between seniors or with yours truly, send a PM to the Executive admins with the evidence. Give them the time and opportunity to assist in resolving the problem. You can also contact Finest if the problem concerns conduct on this forum.
4. If 1, 2, and 3 don't fix the problem or the problem is with the Executive admins, or it's as emergency (admin going rogue), than you can send me a DM or PM but 90% of issues should be resolvable without involving me.
All these steps are to ensure that problem are handled at the lowest level and to ensure respect between admins. If you're a senior or telnet that's involved in resolving a conflict between admins, the best way to resolve is to avoid taking sides unless you've heard from both sides, be straight forward and diplomatic not dramatic, caustic or insulting. Also, if you do get a PM from the Executive admins and the problem is with you, take great care to follow their directions because if they have to PM me about a problem they can't resolve, it will likely result in a long term sanction.
