So this new admin system I've imposed has been shaky. So after about a month of having the system in place I would like the public to decide what happens to it.

None of these options are good if you aren't even sure about the system. Obviously reverting to the last system PAS or not would be bad because we've spent the last 2 years shitting on that system, the new system could go well if executed correctly to its final point but I have doubts it's going to go that way, so if we're basing this off of public opinion I posted a poll a while ago and the majority of people preferred going back to the ancient structure from years ago.

I think we should revert it even further back, and bringing back *PAS might work ONLY if we're more restrictive on it than we were when it was actually a thing.

Ngl I'm still salty Clan got removed, I truly believe that Clan helped the admin system in terms of hierarchy and gave the community good structure. I'm open to constructive criticism though?

The problem with the current admin system, in my opinion, is a lot of things are just being decided by the owner and policies are also being removed by the owner's decision alone. This is what needs to be changed rather than things like TCA/PAS being removed.

I believe that the admin system should be reverted but only SPaS should be brought back and not TPaS. SPaS's should be done more infrequently with a voting process.

other: you can reinstate only seniors can PaS bring back telnet clan :pensive: try to make senior not as hard to get. i mean, keep the application template how it is, but open them every 3-4 months.

This thread in a nutshell: "I'm a telnet admin, please make me senior admin"

i just think people who had clan before it was removed should be able to have some sort of advantage over other senior applicants. the people who applied and were accepted for clan were able to prove themselves that they could handle the responsiblity of using console. at least from my perspective, i feel like you would need a lot of trust in someone to give someone this type of power.

While the opinion is unpopular, I would vote for the red total of both *PAS and clan. Of course, as has been mentioned above, we could set more restrictions on *PAS.

if we do somehow reinstate the *pas systems i believe they'd need to be massively reworked on, and rewritten

No *PaS please, unless it can be heavily restricted (such as not allowing seniors to pick without a vote).

Prozza had a great idea in concept, but I'm not sure how it would work in practice. If he shows up and sees anything i forgot or got wrong, he can correct me. Essentially, you leave admin ranks as is, but instead of just admins doing their own thing, you have each senior admin be "in charge" of 3-5 telnet and super admins. Those "lower" admins report directly to that senior who will report to the executives. This means that any suspensions, sanctions, etc. for a telnet or super admin are handled solely by the Senior in charge of said admin. If a senior's group of admins starts acting up, or all of them suck, you know what persons don't deserve senior admin because they can't keep a hold on their team. It allows accountability for both lower and higher admins and still lets admins do their own thing. It also prevents 50 admins reporting to 1 person, and turns into 5 admins reporting to one person, then 10 of those persons reporting to another single person. As more players obtain admin status, people keep getting shifted around so you aren't stuck in a single group or with the same people too long. This will probably be solely at the discretion of the executives on who gets moved where. As the senior teams get to 5 admins in each one, you have all the seniors vote on a telnet admin or two to be moved to senior and shift everyone around until nobody has more than 5 people to watch. This system lets those who deserve to be moved to let them move up, and allows people to still obtain admin status without overloading the seniors. Let me know if I missed anything or of any concerns or ideas. EDIT: Keep *PaS gone and keep clan gone. They were both flawed and unneeded. If anyone cares to know why, I'll make a new post about it, but won't waste my time by editing a current post.
