If i press on Announcer, it turns on, so it's technically the same as that other bot, as something must happen before it enables. According to section 4i: activation upon keybinds are allowed, anything else isn't allowed. Same goes for this bot then - It's not a keybind that enables it.

I don't see it as much, as long as it's not too spammy, I think it would be allowed prntscr.com/gm6znwHe's taking over chat How's that spamming? It's literally just 2 messages...

I think they're fine and admins should treat them like any regular player. If the bot is causing spam, you can go ahead and mute them. You contradicted yourself in your own thread: Macros that are triggered by chat actions (e.g. someone gets flagged as an imposter automatically makes your client do /say Verify)Essentially, anything that you did not press yourself but rather is based on the actions of other players or what is being said in chat.

That thread is for admins since I can't come to an agreement on whether this ChatGames bot should be allowed. I'll discuss it with Steven and see what we can agree on.

How's that spamming? It's literally just 2 messages... In shrules case, he isn't spamming chat, however the macro isn't allowed, this bot is also not allowed, and this bot does take up chat and spam it. I'd prefer a reaction plugin to be added

No, you still contradicted yourself, so what your saying there is giving OPs special treatment: Bot's that are activated by chat by admins = not allowed Bot's activated by chat made by OPs = allowed

Does that make a difference? Which one could be potentially be spammy? If a spambot joins ShRule's bot would spam however even though both is flooding chat, ShRule's bot is more consistent due to players keep joining and leaving

Also, no, if someone spammed leaving and joining it's not necessarily shrules fault, in any case he could disable it in the event of a crash chest, before turning it back on again, plus the chatgames is being spamming in different ways, the bot itself, the commands and the answers.

A new policy will be made sometime soon. For now, just let the most senior online staff make the decision.

Thought the owner of the bot holds ALL responsibilities of the bot's usage and action. As mentioned chat games can be spammy but not consistently like ShRules'. It's more of an event and a particular time not like ShRule's which just goes whenever a player comes in or offline

I believe macro's are allowed if they do not do any administrative actions. If not that's how they should work.
