^ The point of it was not to be covered up. In fact, I tried to expose it because I wanted to show people viewing this the redstone components. I also don't plan on making traps or anything. I do appreciate the input though

^ but in the future, you'll still cover it up, i mean if u add them to some build, u gotta redesign the rs to fit the build.

I do appreciate the input though I do understand that you wasn't intending to cover it up and the intention was to show it off, though I was giving an example about how it could look tacky and not the best.

I'm not the greatest builder I admit, but I have some critisms based off of what I've seen The redstone looks like a mash of randomly placed blocks, and it looks like you over complicated a simple door and button design, by adding more unnecessary blocks in an attempt to look like it's more complicated than it is. The buildings, considering you said you are great at exterior, look like basic minecraft generated villages, a lot more needs to be added to define you as a builder. The beacon I kind of like because it's unique but again it's plain on it's own

But that was more to show people my knowledge of redstone circuitry. As for the blocks, color coding is a great way to organize things, especially in larger scale redstone builds.

But my point, was that it seemed like just adding more to make it look like you have knowledge when to me, it just seemed like adding things for the looks. I wasn't referring to the different colour blocks, colour coding is fine.

The blocks I believe you are referring to (yellow glazed terracotta) had to be next to the slime blocks so the slime blocks wouldn't pull other blocks from the build when they moved. The terracotta looking good is a good bonus but it wasn't the reason I did it. Could you please tell me which picture you are referring to?

The beacon atlas was from Grian's "10 beacons design" The fact that you copied him just make me think you have no originality.

Fair enough (although I didn't copy it block by block) but I'm still developing my owns style and any help offered is appreciated. I'll have screenshots up later today of a build I made by hand *without watching any videos*.

k @dark here is a redstone countdown clock that counts down from 5 to 0. It only goes down to two right now because I haven't finished it yet (I will soon) but the best part is I looked these up and not many people make these. I built this with no reference - You can look for a video I copied it from if you don't believe me, but you won't find any that look exactly like mine. See:

I didn't watch any of the videos, just looked at the titles and the thumbnails. So I didn't have a step-by-step tutorial reference or a video to watch.

Darth May I recommend you stop spamming this with comments from you, if someone asks you a question then it's fine, but just stop continuously talking on here.
